If you haven’t seen Simon Ould around you certainly haven’t been to many art private views. A big fan of the auto biography Simon talks on an astounding array of subjects – his large head occupied by a massive brain. People who have met him often do not know that he actually makes an incredible amount of art.
His art is spontaneous and raw using the cheapest materials to hand, found newspapers, post it notes, tin foil, old books, empty packets and beer cans to name just a few things. His talent for the immediate has often been the envy of his peers.
